St James Village Hall is unusual in having excellent facilities for exercise which double up as a spacious hall for parties and events. There is also a stage.

The catering facilities are outstanding with a refurbished kitchen which is well equipped for large and small scale food preparation. Outside, the car park is unusually large and accessible, there is now a one acre playing field to the rear donated by the council for a 40 year period, two double size allotments for rent, composting facilities and two storage sheds. There is also an outdoor electrical supply and a defibrillator.

With the exception of the stage, everywhere has wheelchair access.
