Tree Description James Grieve x Golden Delicious. Sweetness and honeyed taste of Golden Delicious but balanced by acidity of James Grieve; firm, juicy, deep cream flesh. Early in season the fruit is hard and sharp, becoming sweeter and softer. A late autumn dessert apple.
